All About Tartan Teddy Bears

Tartan Teddy Bears are based on the east side of Livingston, which is a Town, West of Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland.

Each Bear is lovingly hand made, and completely individual - no two bears are ever identical. This uniqueness gives every bear its own characteristics, and whilst two bears may be made from, for example, the same Tartan or Plaid cloth material, the positioning of the eyes, the hand stitched nose, or the mouth, can all alter the expression very slightly.

Bears can be made from almost any Tartan that is available or indeed, almost any material - there are a few exceptions where the material is too thin or too thick?

This also allows Bears to be made from treasured possessions from, for example, your loved ones, or from a special article that may have significant person value, and are made into a very personalised Memory Bear, to help maintain that memories for years to come.

Bears are made with articulated arms and legs, allowing each bear to be positioned in many different poses.

 

There is also a limited additional personalisation available, whereby, the bear's paws can be hand embroidered with for example a name, or date to celebrate a special occasion, for a small additional charge.

 

Each Bear is finished by hand, and is intended more as a keep sake than a Toy.

 

Bears are not considered suitable for very young children or Babies.

 

A bear can be made to order in just a few days - some bears are available for immediate dispatch to their new forever homes. Memory Bears can take a little longer to make, dependant upon receipt of material from customers and can be delayed, at particularly busy times, such as the lead up to Christmas. Individual customers should check directly for an accurate quote on delivery times.
